Ennis
We head for Ennis stopping off in Roscrea, where you can visit the castle. We then proceed on through Limerick to the West County in Ennis. After settling in you can explore the town with the option to visit the Clare Museum and the Friary. Guided walking tours are available, both historical and gourmet.
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park
We spend today in the acclaimed Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, which is a mixture of display and live interaction, recalling past times and different lifestyles. There will be ample time for exchanging reminiscences as you visit houses, shops and schoolrooms of bygone days. Enjoy the castle and the walled garden as well as the Folk Park and Woollen Mills.
Lahinch & the Cliffs of Moher
We concentrate on Clare today and many of the places we travel through will have familiar sounding names, Kilrush, Kilkee, Doonbeg, Milltown, Malbay, Lahinch and Liscannor. Most are associated with the essence of Clare, music, nature, and hurling. Enjoy the sights and sounds as we journey to the world famous Cliffs of Moher, where a walk on the designated Cliff Walk is a must after you visit the Interpretative Centre. We return to the hotel via Ennistymon and Lahinch.
Limerick City
We depart Ennis to spend some time in Limerick. The city has many attractions, the Treaty Stone, the Hunt Museum, Thomond Park, King John’s Castle, Jim Kemmy Museum, to name but a few. All are quite central so choose between retail and culture or combine the two before we leave for home.
If you require a fifth day of your tour, this can be added. Please contact our team for more details.
