Departure

We collect you from our agreed pick up point with one of our luxury
coaches. Our first stop will be at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel where we
can enjoy tea / coffee and scones before continuing to the Abbey.

JFK Arboretum
In any season, JFK Memorial Park, New Ross is a lovely place to visit.
During your visit a specialist guide will come on board your coach. As
the coach travels slowly around the park, your attention will be drawn
to the fascinating array of trees and shrubs from five continents. Finally,
you’ll be brought to a spectacular viewing point. The Park’s Exhibition
Centre is interesting and worth a little of your time. A café serves tasty,
light refreshments.

Dunbrody Abbey
Dunbrody Abbey was founded in 1170, on the instructions of Strongbow.
It is one of the most impressive Cistercian monasteries in Ireland. Another
attraction at this site is an intricate Yew Hedge Maze. Made up of 1,500
yew trees and gravel paths, it is one of only two full size mazes in Ireland.
A craft shop, an Art Gallery and Tea Rooms add to the appeal of this
visitor attraction.

Evening Meal
We return to the Woodford Dolmen Hotel for our evening meal. The hotel
is set on beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Carlow town. The hotel is
noted for its delicious food and great service. After the meal we bring you
back to the agreed drop off point.
