Departure
We will depart from the agreed pick up point with our luxury coach and experienced guide. Enjoy a morning break for tea / coffee and scones enroute to your first stop.
Evening Meal
After a great day out, you will depart for your evening meal. Here you will enjoy a 4 course meal before returning home.
Entertainment is not included, but may be added for an additional cost.

The River Run
Departing from The Quays, in the shadow of Athlone Castle, you will travel along the longest river in either Ireland or Great Britain and discover the unspoilt beauty and wild life of the Shannon. Listen to the river’s history, enjoy the expanse and tranquillity of Lough Ree and marvel at the island monastic settlements before heading back to The Quays.
Athlone Town
Athlone is a thriving historical town. Athlone Castle commands the traditional gateway to the West, and its recently renovated Visitor’s Centre is well worth a visit. You can ‘shop till you drop’ in Athlone. There are two shopping centres, several exclusive boutiques and numerous restaurants and cafés for shopping and dining and are all centrally located.
