Departure
We depart from the agreed pick up point on our luxury coach accompanied
by an experienced tour guide. We journey to Limerick and stop en route
at the Gandon Inn, to enjoy tea / coffee and scones.
Glenstal Abbey
This Benedictine monastery is located near Murroe, Co. Limerick. The
Abbey is essentially a house of God. There is a community of 40 monks.
The Abbey occupies a 19th century Norman revivalist castle which was
once home to the famous, Barrington family. Before a guided tour, you
will have an opportunity to attend a community Mass. The 17th century,
tiered, walled garden has been restored and a garden planted with
biblical herbs and flowers introduced.

Limerick City
In recent years, Limerick city centre has received a welcome facelift. You
will find all the top, high street shops side by side with smaller family
retailers and a profusion of excellent cafés within walking distance of
each other. The pedestrian streets will make the experience even more
pleasant. You can while away an hour or two in the popular Hunt
Museum or sample a wide variety of locally produced foodstuffs at the
Milk Market (weekends only).
Evening Meal
We head back to the Gandon Inn for our evening meal . The hotel is a
well known stopping off point in the Midlands because of its excellent
food and service. After the meal we return you to the agreed drop off
point.
