Avoca Handweavers
A visit to Avoca Handweavers is a long time favourite among the Dublin and Wicklow communities. The Visitor Centre tells you the story since 1723 and a Mill Tour enables you to meet the weavers at work. The original whitewashed buildings of the old mill now house the store, which carries an extensive selection
of Avoca favourites.
The Wicklow Hills & Glendalough
Wicklow is Ireland’s Garden County, bursting with heather-clad mountains, gushing waterfalls, dramatic valleys and sparkling hidden lakes. At the core of this exhilarating drive lies the Wicklow Mountains National Park. Drive south along past blanket bog and mountains, where the road leads to Glendalough, by Glenmacnass and Laragh. Take a short time to refesh and stretch your legs in the wonderful surrounds of Glendalough.
