Belfast
We will travel North on the M1 to the Northern Capital, stopping en-route at the Carrickdale Hotel for some refreshments. We will go directly to the very well known Titanic Exhibition which has become a must do on any trip to Belfast. Following our visit we will then go to the Wellington Park Hotel where you can expect a warm Ulster welcome.
See & Enjoy the City
A city tour is the first item on today’s agenda (local expert tour guide is available on request). The on board tour guide will bring you to all the places you will have heard about over the last few decades including the Falls Road and Stormont. After the city tour we go to the Ulster Museum to view their current exhibits. Moving on, from matters historical and cultural we experience city centre retail areas, such as Victoria Square and Castlecourt.
The Antrim Coast
Today, we travel to the Antrim Coastline, passing through the Glens of Antrim, viewing the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Dunluce Castle. We eventually arrive at the Giant’s Causeway and the recently opened Visitor’s Centre. The centre has some unique observations on the origins of the Causeway. After the Causeway visit, we will move on to the Bushmills Distillery, to sample the produce.
Wandering Home
We leave Belfast mid-morning and heading homewards, we call to the village of Hillsborough, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Court House Museum. The town also houses Hillsborough Castle, which is an official Royal Residence, as well as being the residence of the Northern Ireland Secretary of State. We will also make a short stop at the Outlet Centre near Banbridge, to see if there are any bargains to be had with the remainder of your Sterling
