ENNISCORTHY CASTLE OR THE 1798 REBELLION CENTRE

Choose to visit Enniscorthy Castle or The National 1798 Rebellion Centre.

Enniscorthy Castle – The visitors experience focuses on the development of the castle and town from its earliest Anglo-Norman origins, with a special display on the castle as a family home.

The National 1798 Rebellion Centre – Visitors will discover in detail how some 20,000 insurgents faced the might of 10,000 well-trained and well armed Crown Forces. A spectacular audiovisual presentation places the story in an international context and an exhibition explores authentic weapons from the period.

WEXFORD SHOPPING

Unusual small shops peer out from every angle on the Main Street in Wexford which still retains many of its original shop fronts. The Bull Ring forms a square in the center of the town. You will find a good collection of shops, local interest and history there.

EVENING MEAL

After a great day out, you will depart for your evening meal. Here you will enjoy a 4 course meal before returning home.
