NATIONAL PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The All-Ireland Ploughing Championships are the largest rural gathering of people in Europe, with over 15 countries participating. With over 300 competitions and 1,700 exhibitors showcasing every aspect of country life in Ireland. You will experience a cross section of everything associated with rural Ireland.

It is the pinnacle of the ploughmen and women’s year, and host to one of Europe’s largest agricultural trade exhibitions. The championships are held over the course of three days in September and exhibit displays of livestock and machinery, as well as holding various sporting challenges. Such is the broadness of its appeal there is something to interest everyone from farmer and rural dweller to urban dweller.

EVENING MEAL

After a great day out, you will depart for your evening meal. Here you will enjoy a 4 course meal before returning home.
