Donegal via Omagh

Our coach travels to Donegal through Monaghan, where we can have a short break before moving on to Omagh where a visit to the Ulster American Folk Park can be arranged. Here you can see the portrayal of the lives of the Ulster emigrants to America. We then continue our journey toward the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny.

Donegal - Sea and Scenery

Today, we will experience all that Donegal has to offer. We will travel towards Errigal, the highest peak in the county visiting Glenveagh Castle and National Park. We then head to Gweedore, a living Gaeltacht where you can use your Gaeilge in the siopai. We move on to Dungloe where we can visit the Daniel O’Donnell Visitor Centre. On our return journey we can visit Glebe House and Gallery where artist Derek Hill lived and worked, and where his work and collections can be viewed.

Derry - The Walled City

We will move into Donegal’s neighbouring county to visit Derry with the option of a guided tour. Derry has been the City of Culture in 2013 and has benefitted greatly from this designation. You will have free time to explore this 6th century city, walk its walls and visit the other landmarks familiar to us from T.V and folklore. Do bring Sterling.

Armagh & Home

We leave Donegal and travel home through Armagh - the Cathedral City. Armagh has many attractions e.g. Cathedrals, Planetarium etc. and you can visit as many as time allows. Again this is a Sterling location. Leaving Armagh we will return you to your drop off point.
